CRASP and Elsevier scholarships for Ukrainian Ph.D. students and researchers

The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP) has announced a call for applications for the CRASP and Elsevier Scholarship Program, aimed at enhancing the research potential of Ukrainian Ph.D. students and academics.

The scholarship is intended to co-finance a minimum three-month, in-person research internship for Ukrainian researchers at a Polish university, to be carried out between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026. Under this initiative, the scholarship may be awarded to Ukrainian citizens—doctoral students and researchers up to the age of 35—affiliated with Ukrainian higher education institutions that collaborate with KRASP member universities.

As part of the scholarship, Polish universities shall provide academic facilities and materials free of charge. Polish universities shall not charge scholars with any fees, including ones for academic supervision or administrative support. The total scholarship amount for the entire stay is PLN 17,000.00.

The financial support under the CRASP and Elsevier Scholarship Program is dedicated to young researchers and doctoral students from Ukrainian universities who are receiving alternative funding for their stay in Poland, nor participating in any other scholarship or internship programs during the same period.
