The second edition of 4EU+ Tomorrow’s Research and Science Innovation in Student start-up (4EU+ Transition) took place at the University of Geneva on October 9–10. This event brings together students from universities of the 4EU+ alliance and universities from Ukraine to provide, share, exchange and develop information and ideas on the topic: How to develop an original idea for a start-up. Students learned how to connect with the international community and collaborate with a diverse group of students, entrepreneurs and innovators from 4EU+ universities, how to build connections, exchange ideas and foster cooperation.

During the two-day workshop, participants visited the Fongit Incubator, had dynamic discussions with experienced speakers and cooperated with international counterparts. Students had the opportunity to hear about successful start-ups and be inspired by the stories, travels and experiences of their founders.

On the second day, participants gained practical knowledge in the field of creating and developing startups and learn to present them using the example of their own ideas.

Within the 4EU+ for Ukraine project participants were provided with transport (bus/airline tickets) and accommodation with meals in Warsaw and Geneva.

Programme – Tomorrow’s Research ANd Science InnoVATION in student’s start-ups

It was a great experience for me to learn more about start-ups and how to turn them into reality. I enjoyed having the chance to participate in the development of a team startup and to visit the Fongit Innovation Hub to get advice from people who have succeeded in implementing their ideas. This trip inspired me, gave me strength and more confidence. I believe that thanks to the knowledge I gained during the workshops and seminars, I will be able to achieve my goals.
