Financial conditions:

  • Students are exempt from tuition fees at the host university.
  • Visa, travel, insurance, study materials, subsistence and accommodation costs are paid by the student.

Required documents:

  1. Consent Form, signed by Head of the Educational Unit (EUH) or Mobility Coordinator;
  2. Certificate of grade average from the entire period of study, issued by the Student’s Office at the unit – at least 3,49;
  3. GPA Conversion Certificate issued by the Student’s Office at the unit (at least 2,5 out of 4,0).
  4. Motivation letter justifying the choice of the receiving institution;
  5. Curriculum Vitae including information on academic achievements, distinctions, awards etc.
  6. Certificate/proof of the English language skills – a language certificate or a document issued by the UW Centre for Foreign Language Teaching or by the lecturer conducting the language class – at least B2
  7. A statement  confirming of financial resources as required by the partner university (minimum $5,000 for a stay of 1 semester).

  • Current transcript in English
  • GPA conversion certificate
  • Admissions Essay
  • Copy of Passport
  • Health Certificate
  • Student Oath
  • One Passport-sized photo
  • Health Insurance
  • Application fee
  • Bank statement (after the GSC completes reviewing application).

Remarks:

  • The receiving institution shall reserve the right to review the exchange enrolment request and make the final decision according the receiving institution’s internal regulations and the legal regulations imposed by the national and/or local authorities.
  • Students accepted by the receiving institution shall obtain approval for the study programme from the Mobility Coordinator at their home unit at UW. Learning Agreement shall be signed by the student and both institutions within 3 weeks from the beginning of the exchange.
  • Candidates may, at any time, be asked to show original documents providing achievements and received awards.
  • Students take care of the visa on their own in accordance with the procedures of the host country.
  • Before departure, students accepted by the receiving institution are obliged to conclude an agreement with the University of Warsaw (at the International Relations Office).
  • The documents required by the foreign university should be submitted by 30.04.2024 by the nominated student to the Korea University application system in the indicated file formats. Please do not send the documents required by KU to IRO UW.
  • Additional information will be sent to nominated students.

Application deadline:  13 March 2024, until 23:59 Warsaw time zone. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Application (one e-mail containing all required documents shall be sent to the email address bwz.nabory.wymiana@uw.edu.pl from the candidate’s university email address (§3 Order of the Rector of UW no. 279 from 10th December 2020). Applications sent from other email addresses will not be considered.
