Application for the Scholarships of the Government of the Slovak Republic is open now. The programme is addressed to students, PhD students, university teachers, researchers and artists.

Citizens of any country in the world can apply, except the citizens of the Slovak Republic.

Short module programme „Sociology of Elites: Case Studies and methods”

Short module programme „Sociology of Elites:  Case Studies and methods”, organised by Prof. Robert Zajonc Institute for Social Studies, University of Warsaw, in the framework of NAWA project “Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning” (API) – International Academic Partnerships Programme.

Project partners are four 4EU+ partners: University of Warsaw (project coordinator), Charles University in Prague, Sorbonne University, University of Heidelberg.
Classes will be conducted online in the period 30 September – 15  October 2021, twice a week.
Participation is free of charge.
Language of instruction: English.

The programme is targeted at master and doctoral students/ young researchers.

 

Applicants are asked to send their CV, a letter of recommendation from their supervisor, and a short (1 page) description of their research to the following email address: andrzej.turkowski@uw.edu.pl

The European Union under the “EU4Belarus: Solidarity with the people of Belarus” programme is launching a call for proposals for EU4Belarus – SALT (Support for Advanced Learning and Training) scholarships for Belarusian students who are already studying at universities in Lithuania, Latvia,Czechia, and Poland, as well as for those who will start their studies in the academic years 2021/22 and 2022/23.

Application deadline is September 6, 2021.

Visegrad-Taiwan Scholarships

The program is designed to offer funding to selected PhD candidates as well as doctoral and post-doctoral scholars to study or conduct research at nearly 30 leading Taiwanese universities and research institutions. The overall support amounts to 40 months of scholarship ideally equally split between the citizens of all V4 countries. Scholars can receive the support from the Visegrad Fund amounting to €1,000/month with an additional one-time travel grant in the amount of €1,000, while the Taiwanese side fully covers tuition fees. Within a reciprocal edition, the program will also support Taiwanese Qianlima scholars coming to the V4 region where the Visegrad Fund will provide lump-sum support to the respective host universities.

The deadline for applications is 30 September 2021, with the first scholars expected to commence in early 2022.
