Call for papers
To address the complex issue of European narratives and identity: Ukraine – a new perspective, the conference organizers suggest several directions for the debate:
- Memory, Identity, and Historical Politics: Drawing from European Experiences.
- Language Policy: Exploring its Impact and Implications.
- Translation and Promotion of Ukrainian Culture Globally.
- Decolonization of Narratives Surrounding Ukrainian Culture and Literature.
Submissions may address the issues indicated but are not limited to these suggestions.
To participate in the conference, please send your paper submission, including your name, email, affiliation, the title, and abstract of your paper (max. 150 words) to 4euplus_forukraine@uw.edu.pl by May 10th, 2024.

Please note that if you do not consent, your application will not be processed.
All submissions are reviewed by the members of the Organising and Scientific Committee. All abstracts must be written and copy-edited in English. Papers can be presented at the conference in English or Ukrainian. Papers will be 15 minutes maximum followed by a discussion between the different session speakers and the public.

Participants affiliated with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, University of Warsaw, Charles University, Heidelberg University, Paris – Pantheon – Assas University, Sorbonne University, University of Copenhagen, University of Geneva or University of Milan will have their travel and accommodation arranged by the organizers from the “4EU+ for Ukraine” project funds.
