Financial conditions: Students are exempt from paying tuition fees at the host university. The host university provides free accommodation and a scholarship.

Documents required by UW:

  1. Consent Form, signed by Head of the Educational Unit (EUH) or Mobility Coordinator;
  2. Certificate of grade average from the entire period of study, issued by the Student’s Office at the unit – at least 3,49;
  3. Motivation letter justifying the choice of the receiving institution;
  4. Curriculum Vitae including information on academic achievements, distinctions, awards etc.
  5. Certificate/proof of the English language skills – a language certificate or a document issued by the UW Centre for Foreign Language Teaching or by the lecturer conducting the language class – at least B2*.

 Documents required by TSU when applying:

  1. Nomination letter (issued by IRO UW after the recruitment has been resolved)
  2. Transcript of Records
  3. CV
  4. Motivation letter
  5. Copy of your passport
  6. English certificate at least at B2 level*
  7. Photo (3 cm x 4 cm)
  8. Insurance covering the costs of treatment in Georgia (the document can be provided 2-3 weeks before arrival).

* An official certificate is not required, a certificate issued by the UW lecturer/dean’s office is sufficient.

 Remarks:

  • The receiving institution shall reserve the right to review the exchange enrolment request and make the final decision according the receiving institution’s internal regulations and the legal regulations imposed by the national and/or local authorities.
  • Students accepted by the receiving institution shall obtain approval for the study programme from the Mobility Coordinator at their home unit at UW. Learning Agreement shall be signed by the student and both institutions within 3 weeks from the beginning of the exchange.
  • Citizens of European Union Member States do NOT require a visa to enter Georgia. They can stay in the country for 1 year without a visa.
  • Candidates may, at any time, be asked to show original documents providing achievements and received awards.
  • Before departure, students accepted by the receiving institution are obliged to conclude an agreement with the University of Warsaw (at the International Relations Office).

  • Nominated persons will be asked to complete all formalities and provide TSU with the documents required by the host university by the end of June 2024.

 Application deadline (documents required by UW):  May 12, 2024. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

 Application (one e-mail containing all required documents; subject: Student exchange, Tbilisi State University) shall be sent to the email address bwz.nabory.wymiana@uw.edu.pl from the candidate’s university email address (§3 Order of the Rector of UW no. 279 from 10th December 2020). Applications sent from other email addresses will not be considered.
