Financial conditions:
- Students are exempt from tuition fees at the host university.
- Visa, travel, insurance, study materials, subsistence and accommodation costs are paid by the student.
Required documents:
- Consent Form, signed by Head of the Educational Unit (EUH) or Mobility Coordinator;
- Certificate of grade average from the entire period of study, issued by the Student’s Office at the unit (minimum 3,49);
- Motivation letter justifying the choice of the receiving institution and indicating the chosen unit at the host university;
- Curriculum Vitae including information on academic achievements, distinctions, awards etc.
- Certificate/proof of the language skills: (for candidates wishing to study in English: a document confirming knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level; for candidates wishing to study in Korean: a certificate at TOPIK 3 level or, in the case of students majoring in Oriental Studies-Korean Studies, a letter of recommendation from the Head of the Department of Korean Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies);
- Statement of financial resources as required by the partner university (minimum of USD 5,000 for a 1 semester stay or USD 9,000 for a full academic year stay).

- Full-size colour copy of passport (including the signature page);
- Passport photo (3.5×4.5, coloured, scanned in white background);
- Official Bank Statement (over 5000 USD per semester/9000 USD per year);
- Insurance certification;
- Certificate of Enrollment (English);
- Official academic transcript (English);
- Recommendation Letter from your academic advisor or professor
- KHU Form 1: Personal Statement including your Study Plan (Korean or English);
- KHU Form 2: Dormitory Application;
- KHU Form 3: Medical Assessment;
- KHU Form 4: Consents on Medical Records Release and Personal Information Usage;
- Valid TB Test Result (only valid for 3 months from the test date);
- TOPIK (if available)

Remarks:
- * KHU offers incoming students only undergraduate courses.
- The receiving institution shall reserve the right to review the exchange enrolment request and make the final decision according the receiving institution’s internal regulations and the legal regulations imposed by the national and/or local authorities.
- Students take care of the visa on their own in accordance with the procedures of the host country.
- Students accepted by the receiving institution shall obtain approval for the study programme from the Mobility Coordinator at their home unit at UW. Learning Agreement shall be signed by the student and both institutions within 3 weeks from the beginning of the exchange.
- Candidates may, at any time, be asked to show original documents providing achievements and received awards.
- The nominated student should send the documents required by the partner university in the manner specified by KHU by 30.11.2024. Please do not forward the documents required by KHU to BWZ. Additional information will be sent to nominated students.
- Before departure, students accepted by the receiving institution are obliged to conclude an agreement with the University of Warsaw (at the International Relations Office).
Application deadline: 12 September 2024, until 23:59 Warsaw time zone. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Application (one e-mail containing all required documents shall be sent to the email address bwz.nabory.wymiana@uw.edu.pl from the candidate’s university email address (§3 Order of the Rector of UW no. 279 from 10th December 2020). Applications sent from other email addresses will not be considered.
