Part two – Cross-cultural communication? (approx. 110 minutes)
- How to categorize cultures to make our life easier ?
- Communication patterns – high vs low context cultures, indirect vs direct, formal vs informal communication
- Non-verbal communication – especially space, facial expressions, gestures, tone of voice
- Identifying cultural competencies needed to deal with challenges in cross-cultural communication
- Case studies – are key in this section
