Period of stay and length of stay: winter semester 2025/2026 (August – December 2025)
Number of scholarships: 2 students per semester
Who can apply: Students of 1st cycle and long-cycle master’s degree (after completing the 1st year of studies) as well as students of 2nd cycle
Eligible units/fields of study: addressed to all faculties

Financial conditions:

  • Tuition fee will be waived by the host institution;
  • Costs of visa, tickets, insurance, handbooks, costs of living and accommodation are covered by a student.

Required documents:

  1. Consent Form, signed by Head of the Educational Unit (EUH) or Mobility Coordinator;
  2. Certificate of grade average from the entire period of study, issued by the Student’s Office at the unit – at least 3,49;
  3. Transcript of Records in English signed by an authorized person in the unit conducting the studies – students of the first year of second-cycle studies submit a Transcript of Records or a supplement to the diploma of first-cycle studies;
  4. Motivation letter justifying the choice of the receiving institution;
  5. Curriculum Vitae including information on academic achievements, distinctions, awards etc.;
  6. Certificate/proof of the English or Spanish language skills – min. level B2

Remarks:

  • The receiving institution shall reserve the right to review the exchange enrolment request and make the final decision according the receiving institution’s internal regulations and the legal regulations imposed by the national and/or local authorities.
  • Students accepted by the receiving institution shall obtain approval for the study programme from the Mobility Coordinator at their home unit at UW. Learning Agreement shall be signed by the student and both institutions within 3 weeks from the beginning of the exchange.
  • Candidates may, at any time, be asked to show original documents providing achievements and received awards.
  • Students take care of the visa on their own in accordance with the procedures of the host country website https://www.gob.mx/inm.
  • Before departure, students accepted by the receiving institution are obliged to conclude an agreement with the University of Warsaw (at the International Relations Office).
  • Nominated students will be required to submit the following documents by May 15, 2025:
  1. Language proficiency proof. If the student is going to study courses taught in English and he/she comes from a non-native English-speaking country, a letter or certificate that states he/she has English proficiency equivalent to B2 Level will be required. For courses taught in Spanish, if the student is from a non-native Spanish speaking country, we will send the instructions for our online placement test.
  2. Valid passport (copies with expired date will be rejected).
  3. Official transcript of records with official stamp (in English, if coming from a non-Spanish speaking country).
  4. 1 front view passport-size photo, in color and white background. It has to have a minimum resolution of 300×300 px and must be delivered in JPG format and named with the student´s full name (First Name(s)_Last Name(s)). We cannot accept cropped photos from trips, social media, events, selfie, etc.
  5. UDLAP Medical form (approved, signed and stamped by a doctor and the student). Blood type is mandatory.
  6. Copy of the health international insurance.

Application deadline:  Friday 14th March 2025, until 12:00 pm Warsaw time zone. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Application (one e-mail containing all required documents; subject: Mexico – UDLAP – winter semester 2025/2026) shall be sent to the email address bwz.nabory.wymiana@uw.edu.pl from the candidate’s university email address (§3 Order of the Rector of UW no. 279 from 10th December 2020). Applications sent from other email addresses will not be considered.
