Who can apply: Students of 1st cycle and long-cycle master’s degree (after completing the 1st year of studies) as well as students of 2nd cycle

Eligible units/fields of study: addressed to all disciplines represented by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (https://clas.ufl.edu/)

Financial conditions:

  • Tuition fee will be waived by the host institution;
  • Costs of visa, tickets, insurance, handbooks, costs of living and accommodation are covered by a student;

Required documents:

  1. Consent Form, signed by Head of the Educational Unit (EUH) or Mobility Coordinator;
  2. Certificate of grade average from the entire period of study, issued by the Student’s Office at the unit – at least 3,49;
  3. Motivation letter justifying the choice of the receiving institution;
  4. Curriculum Vitae including information on academic achievements, distinctions, awards etc.;
  5. Certificate/proof of the English language skills (TOEFL iBT 80, TOEFL PBT 550, IELTS 6.0, MELAB 77, Verbal GRE 140; confirmation issued by the home institution may be also accepted).
  6. Declaration of having financial resources in the amount required by the partner university: min. USD2,300 per month (approximately USD11,500 in case of 1 semester stay).

Remarks:

  • The receiving institution shall reserve the right to review the exchange enrolment request and make the final decision according the receiving institution’s internal regulations and the legal regulations imposed by the national and/or local authorities.
  • Students accepted by the receiving institution shall obtain approval for the study programme from the Mobility Coordinator at their home unit at UW. Learning Agreement shall be signed by the student and both institutions within 3 weeks from the beginning of the exchange.
  • Candidates may, at any time, be asked to show original documents providing achievements and received awards.
  • Students take care of the visa on their own in accordance with the procedures of the host country.
  • Before departure, students accepted by the receiving institution are obliged to conclude an agreement with the University of Warsaw (at the International Relations Office).
