Update on the current situation at the University of Warsaw, 07.04.2020

Dear Student,

The Rector of the University of Warsaw issued two new orders on on studying and working arrangements at the University of Warsaw. The orders state the following.

· The period of online lectures and classes for students, doctoral candidates, post-diploma learners is extended until May 15th, 2020.

· The period of work limitations on UW campuses is extended until May 15th, 2020. Most office staff including the IRO staff work from home. The IRO team can be contacted by email.

· The period of suspension of accommodating new students in residence halls and other facilities, and prohibition from visiting these places is extended until June 30th, 2020.

· A 50% reduction in accommodation fee is extended for the month of May for students and doctoral candidates, who live in UW facilities.

Nowe Zarządzenia Rektora Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego dotyczące studiowania i pracy na UW wprowadzają następujące zmiany:

· przedłużenie zajęć online dla studentów, doktorantów oraz słuchaczy do dnia 15 maja 2020 roku

· przedłużenie terminu ograniczenia pracy na terenie uczelni do dnia 15 maja 2020 roku

· przedłużenie terminu wstrzymania kwaterowania nowych osób w domach studenckich i innych obiektach UW oraz zakazu odwiedzin w tych obiektach do dnia 30 czerwca 2020 roku

· zastosowanie jednorazowej, 50-procentowej, obniżki opłaty za zakwaterowanie studentów, doktorantów w obiektach UW w maju 2020 roku.
